NEW YORK CITY

The few times I've visited New York City I was either a child or on a quick business trip. This time however I had the pleasure of my best friend and I enjoying a weekend there in between my business trips!

Being from the south you always hear about New York City, but being that I was able to "touch it" a few times in my life I've kind of been OK with that and essentially checked it off my list of places to visit. My best friend however had never been to NYC, and she told me it was a dream of hers to go during Christmas!

Our time was limited so we spent most of our time walking around seeing the major touristy sites like Times Square and Rockefeller Center.  To be honest that was fine with me since I've never really had the NYC touristy experience myself!

What made this trip even more amazing, was that it was SNOWING!!!  Snowing in NYC over Christmas is so magical!  All the Christmas decorations, all the snow and people bundled up is just New York at its finest!

We walked through the beautiful New York public library and around Bryant Park.

In between all of our walking we would pop into a bar to grab a drink.  A girl has to warm up some kind of way, right?  :)  After a few stops we realized we had been to a few Irish Bars, in one day!  In NYC, no way?!  hehe

New York City is definitely one of a kind.  A must see, even if it's only for a quick couple of days!  If you can make it around Christmas, even better!
